With a new year, comes many new faces. Mrs. Sarah Brown is one of them. As she joins part of Hereford’s physical education and health department.  

Before coming to Hereford, she spent the past 17 years teaching physical education at Baltimore City Schools. When Brown was informed by dance teacher Mrs. Erin Norton about Hereford’s need for new teachers, she took a tour and absolutely loved it. Brown was also looking for work near where she lives 

As a teacher, Brown loves being around people and seeing familiar faces everyday and not being on their phones so often.  

¨I love seeing kids move around and be active,¨ Brown said.”It brings so much joy to my day.” 

In her free time, she likes spending time with her husband and two kids. She also loves to watch reality TV shows because of how dramatic they can be; her favorites are Keeping up With the Kardashians and Real Housewives.  

This is Brown´s first year teaching high school as she had been teaching middle and elementary school since the beginning of her career.
