Meeting on the first Friday of every month, the Knitting Club knits and crochets bags, Christmas presents, hats, scarves for themselves and some that are donated to various charities.

The club “is a place for novices and experienced crafters to connect,” Michelle Vance, the club adviser said.

With the holiday season coming up, the crafters worked on making small stockings to give to their friends and family during the last meeting. “It’s a good handmade present,” club member, Zoe Nickleson (’20) said. “We all work together and help each other out when needed.”

Although it is a place for experienced crafters, the girls agree they would welcome anyone in and would “teach them how to do it,” Nickleson said.
