On May 16 the baseball team defeated Western Tech by a score of 18-6. Those earning hits for the Bulls were Travis Elseroad (’17), Jon Marchineck (’17), Jeremy Cain (’18), and Kyle Wetzelberger (’18) who all recorded two hits for the team. In the top of the fourth inning Abbott recorded his first hit of the ball game when he smashed a grand slam. The Bulls finished the game with 18 runs on 13 hits and six stolen bases. This win sealed the Class 2A Section II Championship for the team as they will move on to face Eastern Tech on May 19.
