This summer I did not do much. Normally my family and I pack tons of vacations in to our summer. Over our summers we have gone to Mexico, Jamaica, and we have taken a cruise to Mexico. When I asked my mom what she had planned for the summer she took a minute to think and said “actually I don’t think we have anything planned.” I was surprised and a little disappointed but she reassured me we would still be doing our regular trips to our lake house in Seneca Falls and St. Louis Missouri. We visit St. Louis because my mom’s twin sister and my favorite cousin lives there, Ariana. I consider her my best friend and visiting her is my favorite things to do. I ended up flying there by myself and staying with them for two weeks. That was the highlight of my summer and by far the most fun I have had in a while. I became extremely close with a lot of her friends and when it was time for me to fly back home we all got very emotional. By the end of the trip we considered ourselves family and it was sad to say goodbye. I am visiting again for about four days to go to her homecoming and I have been looking forward to it for weeks. After years of getting closer with my cousin we have decided we want to go to college together. I am not picky on where I want to go, all I know is I want to go with her.
