My Neighbors Foundation holds community shred-it day

My Neighbors Foundation (MNF) will hold its annual community shred-it day on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Hereford High School from 8am to 12pm.

This event allows people to drive-up and hand their paper-filled boxes to the volunteers working that morning.

This is the third year MNF has supported the shredding event along with other events throughout the school year in order to raise money in support of students in the Hereford area. MNF’s main goal is to provide the resources and support to help all children participate fully with their peers.

“Shred-it Day is a great way for me to rid my basement of all my personal documents,” said Hereford resident Eleanor Bitzer.

The event coordinators ask you to bring your cash donations or checks made payable to My Neighbors Foundation.

Gus Carrier (’16) is all for supporting the foundation.

“I always try to support local foundations because I like to help the community out as much as I can,” said Gus.
